Super Service at the St. Clare's Rectory! Mass Cards available, and their announced masses are aired online via the website, for loved ones, from far away.
Parking is tight, during school's 2pm closing hours, so best to visit the Church Rectory between 10am to 1pm.
Beautiful, peaceful church ideal for quiet reflection and communication with our Heavenly Father. Have attended funerals and weddings there and always try to come early to enjoy quiet contemplation.
St. Clare’s Church is where I made my first holy communion, my Confirmation, and attended religious instruction here at the school from 7 years old until 13 years. Having this our home Church since 1974, attended Chapel at times daily, and Friday night and or Sunday morning mass was common for most Catholics-In our case, Irish-Italian through & through. Confessions were a requirement; however not bad at all if you don’t sin much. I don’t.
Away for a while but still feels like family!
Attended a funeral there. Church was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Was a very lovely mass and tribute to a fine man. Church was immaculately clean!
Been going to this church since the 90s. Has changed a lot over the years. My grandma loves this place. Personally think they have strayed far from the faith.
I am having my mothers service here today. I have been disappointed in there handling of there lack of care.
The priest was sent to the wrong funeral home so my mom was blessed by myself. Apparently it is too much of a sacrafice to travel to the correct place
I also was disappointed by the fact i have to choose my scriptures from a piece of paper. There is no love or service or honor in this method. I hope all churches dont do this. If they do i apologise for this part of my review. But this hurt a lot after spending hours in my bible.
I feel like they arent even going to use a priest just someone who can read from page 8 or 12.
I hope they can at least handle the mass today i am really worried about it and its something i feel i should have enough faith it the church to accomplish. But lord it is so hard here
After 15-years in our local parish - we no longer felt welcomed.. When we first stepped into St. Clare - we just knew this was our new family. Very welcoming, beautiful church & friendly, engaging parishioners
Beautiful little church.
Fr. Gormley is a wonderful man
